  • Outstanding Activities :

  • 1. Under Shrikrishna Education Society, there was only Education up to Matriculation. After taking charge as a Secretary by me in 1986, the Institution progressed to Graduate & Post Graduate level. A land of 10 Acre was acquired from Collector, Osmanabad for separate Senior College Complex.

  • 2. Working as a President of Asmita Charitable Trust, established ‘Indradhanu Vriddha Seva Kendra’ (Old Age Home) for needy and destitute old people with a capacity of 60. This Kendra is running with full capacity now since 1998. The Indian Institute of Architects, Banglore has awarded as the ‘Best Social Architecture’ for this Kendra.

  • 3. Taking into account the need for Blood for the patient in emergency and routine operations, a Shirkrishna Blood Bank has been established and it caters the need for the patients of the Omerga Town and outside. It is the only Blood Bank working at Taluka Level in the whole Marathwada Region.

  • 4. While working in Lions Club, as a social responsibility, I have donated one Acre of land in the heart of the town for Cultural Hall to Municipal Council, Omerga for social activities.

  • 5. Through Indian Medical Association, Rural Health Camps were arranged in and around Omerga in every branch of medicine. And for these activities State IMA has awarded the first prize to Omerga Branch.

  • 6. While working through Lions Club many cultural activities were arranged and Blood Donation Camp was held in rural area through which more number of Blood Collection was done and Govt. of Maharashtra awarded the Club the Governor’s Trophy.

  • 7. More time is given to the educational institute, to raise the standard of Education and Educational awareness in rural area, especially for Girls and Backward Class students.

  • 8. Participated in ‘International Conference of Surgeons’ organized by International College of Surgery at London (U.K) in 1994.

  • 9. For the outstanding and unique activities for Old Age Home, “E Tv” Marathi invited for interview in ‘SANVAD’ which was relayed on 25th and 26th June 2007.

  • 10. Multipurpose Hall and Hingulambika Mandir is constructed at Gunjoti Tq.Omerga in Association with the Samaj Members.

  • 11. To get self employment A Small Scale Industry like Pradnya Paper Industries started in the rural area. This project was started with the aim of initiating the Community for Entrepreneurship Development.

  • 12. Awarded “Osmanabad Gaurav Puraskar” in Social Field of activity in January 2008.

  • 13. Awarded “Samaj Bhushan Puraskar” by Akhil Bhartiya Bhavsar Samaj at Ujjain Conference in January 2008.

  • 14. Awarded “Best Senior Citizen as Social Worker” by ‘Federation of Senior Citizen Organizations in Maharashtra (FESCOM)’ at Nerul (Navi Mumbai) in its Conference.
